SEASONAL ATRACTION. OPEN MAY 1. Claws 'N' Paws Wild Animal Park is a "Zoo-in-the-Woods" where natural trails wander beneath the evergreens. Animals are in large naturalistic enclosures some of which have a glass-fronted section where you can get nose-to-nose, so to speak, with wild and beautiful creatures such as white tiger, wolf, bear, and snow leopard. The park is a privately owned zoo, seasonal reopening yearly May 1, operated and built from scratch by Vince and Bobbie Hall and their son, Chris.

As a private zoo, we receive absolutely no funding from any local, state, or federal agencey. We exist solely on moneys received from entrance fees and gift shop purchases.

The zoo started in 1974 with one main trail and 18 species of animals and gradually increased in size to five trails and over 120 different species of exotics, over 300 animals total. Currently, we occupy about 1/3 of our 94 acres of land with the reserve held for future expansion.

Claws 'N' Paws is a labor of love for the whole Hall family and, by extension, our full-time staff of dedicated animal keepers. We are often complimented on how great the animals look and how clean and attractive their areas are.

Our zoo is committed to providing a wholesome family-oriented experience for all our visitors. We hope you enjoy getting closer to animals than you ever thought you would, and come away with a greater love and respect for the wild kingdom.
